A Curriculum for Skills Development

1st Cycle

1st Cycle on EITV

Motivation and Autonomy

In the 1st cycle, the aim is to create different learning contexts, as well as to provide opportunities for the development of skills and the acquisition of knowledge, ensuring the participation of all students in all phases of the teaching-learning process.

We favor active learning where students are the engines of all educational action. It is their interests and their initiative that determine the projects in which they are involved, guided by the teaching team.

All curricular subjects are approached in an integrated manner, through themes and projects experienced by the whole school and that cross all areas of knowledge that students must master.

The learning experiences they encounter on a daily basis are structured in such a way as to bring the knowledge, skills and challenges necessary for them to become motivated, curious and independent students.

Motivation and Autonomy

We stimulate children's motivation, improving the pace of work and promoting autonomy. We encourage each child to develop at their own pace, valuing independence and self-sufficiency in daily activities.

Digital Skills

We develop efficiency in the exploration of digital resources, improving skills in the use of ICT. Through targeted activities, children learn to use digital tools effectively, preparing themselves for an increasingly technological world.

Organization of Materials

We assist in the collection and organization of study materials, facilitating access and management of information. We teach organization methods that help children keep their materials organized and easily accessible, promoting effective study habits.

Collaboration Between Peers

We enhance collaboration between peers, encouraging group work and joint learning. We promote activities that encourage children to work together, developing social and communication skills while learning to value the contribution of each colleague.

Grow with affection for a happy future

Learning Network, a school for the Future.

The use of tablets, within the scope of the “Learning Network” Project, at the level of the 1st Cycle, aims to integrate the use of technology in the routines of the teaching-learning process. Likewise, the use of these resources encourages intellectual development and facilitates sharing and collaboration between students and teachers, inside and outside the classroom.

Recreational activity: 1st Cycle recess activities are planned, monitored and evaluated to prevent disruptive behavior and promote the integration of isolated students.

Educational Support: For students who show more difficulties, an individualized, differentiated teaching process will be initiated and strategies will be implemented to consolidate the content explored in the various curricular areas.
