Preparation for entering Secondary Education
3rd Cycle
In the final phase of Basic Education we make the effort to help students find their vocation and strengths. We do it to facilitate the decision they face when entering high school, choosing one of the scientific-humanistic / professional training courses. Also in this sense, EITV offers to 9th grade students the possibility to carry out a series of psychometric tests at no additional cost.
This cycle is characterized mainly by the students' personal discovery and, at the same time, by the passage of all the indispensable tools to the next phase of their academic life.
Motivation Stimulation
We stimulate student motivation and promote an improvement in the pace of work, helping them to develop greater autonomy in their academic and personal activities.
Digital Skills
We facilitate greater efficiency in the exploitation of digital resources, contributing to the development of the skills necessary for the efficient use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
Organization of Materials
We offer support in collecting and organizing study materials, helping students maintain a more structured and productive work environment.
Collaboration Between Peers
Promotes and encourages collaboration between peers, encouraging interaction and group work to achieve common goals and strengthen the spirit of cooperation.

Learning Network, a school for the Future.
The use of tablets, within the scope of the “Learning Network” Project, at the level of the 3st Cycle, aims to integrate the use of technology in the routines of the teaching-learning process. Likewise, the use of these resources encourages intellectual development and facilitates sharing and collaboration between students and teachers, inside and outside the classroom.
Upon leaving basic education, students should be able to:
- Mobilize cultural, scientific and technological knowledge to understand reality and address everyday situations and problems.
Use foreign languages to communicate appropriately in everyday situations and to acquire information. - Correctly use the Portuguese language to communicate appropriately and structure your own thoughts.
