Dear Parents and Guardians,
World Music Day is celebrated on October 1st, a date established in 1975 by the International Music Council. To mark this celebration, EITV invited Rádio Miúdos to host a special broadcast dedicated to music in our school playground.
Rádio Miúdos is the first Portuguese radio station for children, which began experimental broadcasts in November 2015. It is a radio station exclusively for children. Online, broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The project was awarded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in the edition of the “FAZ-IDEIAS DE ORIGEM PORTUGUESA 2015” competition, a social entrepreneurship competition in the diaspora and by the Representation of the European Commission in Portugal.
On the morning of October 1st Our students will be able to experience what it's like to be a radio announcer, with Rádio Miúdos, on this very special day when we celebrate World Music Day.
