Dear Parents and Guardians,
We would like to inform you that, in addition to the school’s curricular activities, our Annual Activities Plan presents a framework for educational action based on the guiding principles established in the school’s Educational and Curricular Project. This Plan defines the objectives, forms of organisation and programming of the activities to be carried out throughout the school year.

Our Annual Activities Plan comprises the following objectives:
– Promote school success;
– Educate for citizenship;
– Favour education in knowing how to be, knowing how to be and values;
– Promote teamwork between teachers from the various departments;
– Favour interpersonal and professional relationships;
– Develop pedagogical coordination between the different stages and sections;
– Contribute to the daily organisation of the school;
– Favour interaction with the community;
– Contribute to curricular/pedagogical enrichment;
– Promote activities appropriate to the content taught;
– Develop innovative activities;
– Favour the involvement of the participants in the activity;
– Contribute to the projection of the school.
So far, we had the Music Day (29th of September), the Cross Country and Halloween (31st of October).
In November, there was the anti-bullying week (13th to 17th of November), Pyjamas Day (on the 20th of November) and Science Week (20th to 27th of November).
The next event that will gather the entire school community is the Christmas Party on the 15th of December.
- The new year will bring other activities. Get ready to support your children who will participate in the National and/or International Reading Competition (date yet to be announced).
- February brings Carnival and its Parade through our lovely town of Torres Vedras, on the 9th.
- At 15th of March we have the EITV Music School presentation.
- The Golden Week (18th – 22nd of March) is a time for learning new flavours, making new experiments, and celebrating interculturality.
- Finally, for older students, we foster participation in the Youth Parliament with the support of the Town Council, the Eco-Schools Project, and the Duke of Edinburgh Award (with its Portuguese version, Prémio Infante D. Henrique).
