Dear Parents and Guardians,
We would like to remind you that next Friday morning, 9th February, the school will be taking part in the “Corso Escolar” (Carnival parade of Torres Vedras’ schools, to be held in the city). Therefore, students taking part in the parade should come from home dressed in the costume previously announced.
Parents and guardians will be able to watch the school carnival in town.
In the afternoon, back at school, the usual masquerade parade will take place, where students can impersonate the costumes of their choice and are allowed to bring their chosen costume in a backpack. After lunchtime, the students change in the hall and head to the gym to socialise.
Students who don’t take part in the Corso Escolar in the city in the morning will continue their normal school activity. The same will happen in the afternoon.
Due to their age, nursery school pupils will not be taking part in the parade in the city, but they can come in costume from home. It is not compulsory to follow the school’s theme, as they will only be taking part in the afternoon parade.
